August 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): We enjoy watching wild animals on television and many of us also watch it to know more about them. But what if those wild animals come in front of you? What will be your reaction to it? Recently, this is what happened with the cast and crew of Star Plus’s “Tere Mere Sapne’. They went through a horrified experience.
A source says, “We were shooting a sequence in film city. We weren’t on the road but had to step down a huge slope to get into the jungle. It was quite exciting as everyone gets bored shooting on the set everyday. The cast was still waiting for the shot to start and Parul Chaudhary and Yash Pandit were taking a walk around. Just then they heard a rustle and stopped but could see nothing. So they moved ahead and heard the sound again. And that time they noticed something moving on a nearby tree”.
Source goes on, “It was a snake! Medium in size, wrapped a tree branch, green in color, strikingly beautiful but very scary. They both wondered if it was a flying snake”.
“The actors called their director and cameraman. Both of them decided to take a shot of the snake. So a few light men, camera attendants followed Vijay and Chetan. They started to move closer to the tree.”
He further says, “He was almost about to capture the shot when the snake suddenly sensed the cast and crew around itself and moved at lighting speed towards them. They all ran for their lives, screaming. They were very scared. Once they reached safe spots they turned around to look at each other. Everyone started laughing. It was like a comedy film”.
We contacted Yash Pandit but he remained unavailable for comment while Parul recalls, “Yeah that’s true. This incident happened with us last week. After that for the whole day, we all were making fun of the incident and had gala time over there. But that snake was really very horrifying”.
