London, June 16 (ANI): Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan has extended his support to the show’s runner-up Susan Boyle, insisting the singer is no less than a superstar and needs protection.
Susan had sparked health concerns after a four-day stint at a rehab clinic following exhaustion after facing defeat in the show’s finals.
The 48-year-old recently stunned the crowd at Birmingham with her recent jaw-dropping comeback on the opening date of the BGT tour.
Morgan dubbed the Scottish songbird a “fighter” but emphasised on she need protection after her breakdown.
“Susan’s a fighter - she needs the right people around her. She is a superstar and has to be protected,” The Sun quoted him as saying.
Piers added: “Everyone is concerned she doesn’t get exhausted.”
Meanwhile, Susan continued to woo crowds back home in Scotland and won herself a standing ovation as she sang West End hits Memories and I Dreamed A Dream at Glasgow’s SECC. (ANI)
