Superstar Rajnikanth attends ‘Pen Singam’ screening

May 31, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi’s “Pen Singam’ is scheduled for this week’s release and a special screening was hosted at Four Frames Preview Theatre, in Chennai. Superstar Rajnikanth present along with Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, his son-deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Udhayanidhi Stalin and other family members to watch the film.

“Pen Singam’ is produced by Nandini Arts and is directed by Bali Srirangam. The film is based on the novel “Suruli Malai’ penned by CM before few years. With Telugu actor Udhay Kiran and Richard taking on the lead roles, Meera Jasmine takes on with a powerful role as the entire story revolves around here.

Previously, the film was titled as “Neeyindri Naanillai’ and was later renamed as “Pen Singam’. Rambha, Vivek, J.K. Riteesh, Radha Ravi, Rohini and others have donned prominent roles with Deva scoring music for this film.

The film is getting released at 180 theatres on June 4 for the occasion of Chief Minister Kalainyar Karunanidhi’s birthday.
