Aug 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Supermodel Kristen McMenamy has managed to set a new trend in the world of fashion by appearing on the cover of a leading magazine flaunting her long grey tresses. The 45-year-old highly acclaimed model can be seen on the cover of the current issue of Dazed and Confused as well as in this month’s edition of the Vogue magazine. In an industry that is popular for its obsession with youth, the celebrated model has seized the attention of fashion experts with her unconventional look on the magazine covers.

However, this is not the very first time that Kristen McMenamy has decided to go against the wave in terms of fashion as the supermodel is known to have cut her hair really short sometime in the mid-1990’s as well as going to the extent of shaving off her eyebrows. The model who is said to have refrained from coloring her hair about six years ago, talks about her decision in Vogue magazine in which she emphasizes that one could be older but can still rock ‘n’ roll irrespective of age while adding that one always has to move forward in life. The mother of three further went on to reveal that she took the decision to appear in the magazine covers displaying her silvery hair as she believed that grey hair would make an excellent picture.

Kristen McMenamy also turned heads earlier this year when she took to a Calvin Klein catwalk in New York flaunting her rather striking silver locks which quickly became a topic of discussion among various quarters.
