Jan 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sony Online Entertainment has recently launched DC Universe online, its very first MMO based video gaming, inspired from Superman Movie and several other DC comic characters. It will cost around $59.99, and then another $14.99 a month would enable them to create the super hero of their choice, out of the player’s imagination and creativity. The vice president of development for Sony Online Entertainment, John Blakely said that this game is dedicated to all those action gamers who have never played multi-player games before, along with million other online gamers. According to him, the main USP of the game is that, when the player logs in, he would be playing along with thousand of other players, who would either be playing with him or against him at the same time, while online. The game requires the player to either join the side of the superheroes and save the world from the villains or play in favor of the villains to command the world. The player can also customize their very own characters in the form of a male or a female, and give it the desired look.
Customizing the signature combat move is also part of its USP. One can empower these characters from 6 main power types, like ice, fire, nature, sorcery, psychological power and gadgets. Along with the powers, the player may also resort to 12 weapon specialization. However, as the game would proceed, he would be offered with several other power packed weapons, that can be bought or sold in the course of the game.
