Sulochana awarded Maharashtra Bhushan
December 1st, 2009 - 10:37 pm ICT by Sampurn WireYesterday, the Maharashtra government’s highest award, Maharashtra Bhushan was awarded to actress Sulochana for her work.
The award carries a scroll, memento and Rs. 5 lakh, which will be presented to the actress on Republic Day next year.
Sulochana, born on July 30, 1928, has appeared in over 250 Hindi and Marathi films. Her most memorable Marathi films are Vahinichya Bangdya, Dhakti Jau and Meeth Bhakar.
