Subhash Ghai being treated for gall stones
September 13th, 2011 - 5:43 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Sep 13 (IANS) Filmmaker Subhash Ghai hasn’t suffered any heart attack, says his spokesperson adding that he visited hospital for a regular check-up during which doctors detected gall stones and asked him to stay back for treatment.
“A certain section of media has reported that Subhash Ghai suffered a heart attack and was admitted to ICU. This is totally untrue and false,” said a statement.
“He went into the hospital for a routine check-up which he goes for regularly but on checking they found gall stones which had to be removed and therefore he was admitted for this simple procedure. The procedure has been done and he will be out of hospital within the next few days.”
Ghai’s daughter said: “My father had been going for his regular tests and on checking they found a small surgical issue that needed to be addressed and therefore he was admitted for a simple elective procedure. The procedure has been done and he will be out of hospital within the next few days.”
