Style-lacking Jordan denies being refused designer dressesMarch 3rd, 2009 - 4:25 pm ICT by ANI
London, March 3 (ANI): Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan has slammed claims made by a Brit designer that she was refused a gown because shes not chic enough.
London-based designer Julia Clancey, whose previous clientele include Paris Hilton and Simon Cowells ex Terri Seymour, had said that she had refused to lend her dress owing to Katies dressing style.
I had to refuse. My dresses have a stylish image and Jordan doesnt fit in with that, the Sun quoted Julia as saying.
However, Katie, married to singer Peter Andre, confirmed only the contrary saying she was least bothered about Brit snobs trying to get publicity.
The glamour model said: There was no problem as far as I was concerned. The outfit I was going to wear was stuck in Customs so my stylist just got me another one.
I didnt approach this designer. Ive never even heard of her and, with that attitude, Im not surprised shes not more famous.
If people want to be snobby it really doesnt bother me. There are so many other people around who can offer me better stuff.
Thats what I love about America if youre good at something they celebrate it. In England you can get knocked for being good. But to be honest, I dont take it personally, it just makes me laugh.
We dont mix with celebs in England and were not mixing with them here. We dont use people just to get publicity. (ANI)
