Sep 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Houston was the venue of a show by Scott Weiland and his Stone Temple Pilots band on Sunday and the musician is reported to have lost it on stage in front of his fans. He found it difficult to speak clearly, started shouting about unrelated topics and confessed that he was having a relapse of his alcoholism.

The concert hit off an hour late before Weiland’s incident happened and the band had to remove five of their planned tracks from the program as a result. Many of the show’s patrons reported that the musician couldn’t sing and had to be aided with backstage voices. Leaked videos of an earlier show by Weiland in Cincinnati showed the musician matching his lips to songs being played by his backstage band.

Weiland’s band changed the dates of earlier scheduled concerts so they can rest for a couple of days before continuing their tour. Many believe the band just took the break so they can buy some time to get Weiland back on his feet.

Scott Weiland has been having drug and alcohol problems for a long time and members of the Stone Temple Pilots broke up 9 years ago, as a result.
