Steven Tyler to release his first US solo single next month
April 28th, 2011 - 3:24 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Apr 28 (ANI): Aerosmith star Steven Tyler is all set to release his first U.S. solo single - which he anticipates as the ultimate summer anthem - next month.
It’s his second solo effort in less than a year - in November he released Love Lives, the theme song for a Japanese film, titled Space Battleship Yamato.
The rocker, who is enjoying a popularity boost thanks to a stint as a judge on American Idol, is reportedly making most of his success by releasing ‘(It) Feels So Good’ in May.
“I can hear it coming out of people’s cars this summer,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Tyler, however, is not planning to record an album of solo material - he’s back in the studio with his Aerosmith bandmates recording a follow-up to 2004’s Honkin’ on Bobo. (ANI)
