stevenLos Angeles, Apr 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Steven Tyler sang for the opening game of the National Baseball League played between Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. Traditionally, the opening day of the extremely popular league each year is marked by performances of songs and national anthems by celebrities, which is most certainly looked forward to by all. This time around too it was no different. The Aerosmith frontman put forth a great performance.

Steven Tyler sang the song “God Bless America”. His beautiful rendition of the song brought about another high to an already exhilarating tournament. However, it still failed to make the very popular opening game of baseball a hit. As the game proceeded, the Boston Red Sox proved that they were still not good enough to match up to the New York Yankees.

The live performance on the song “God Bless America” was brought about during the seventh-innings, which was the topped up by another seemingly great performance by Neil Diamond, who belted out the song “Sweet Caroline,” which is the Red Sox theme song. No wonder that the presence of the Aerosmith lead brought about the necessary dose of entertainment quotient to the night.

The Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is recently out of a rehabilitation center, which he had joined to overcome his addiction to painkillers. The Rock group has thwarted all rumors that he will take an extended break and join later. Aerosmith is now ready to start their summer tour in Europe titled “Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock”. The group has reportedly overcome its legal problems as well. So, we may soon get to hear some great numbers from the famed band.
