Jan 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The main USP of “American Idol” Season 10, that has enhanced the ratings of the show this time is Steven Tyler, the front-man of Aerosmith. Sources say that his unique way of judgment, made the first episode so appealing, that no one missed the older previous judges like Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell. No wonder, according to the sources, ever since the news of having Steven Tyler in the show had hit the headlines, people became impatient to witness the premiere in order to have a glimpse of this ace rock star in the new avatar of a judge.

Steven Tyler has previously said that he cannot be mean to the contestants, as most of them would be as young as his daughters and he lived up to his promise. He was warm and friendly to all the young and aspiring contestants. A famous music channel said that the veteran rock star marked a night full of highlights. Although the panel of judges also consisted of bombshell Jennifer Lopez and the oldest of the three judges, Randy Jackson, the dbutante rock star judge apparently took the cake. Sources say that he imparted full energy to the auditions, occasionally singing and jumping with the contestants, whenever he liked their songs. Infact, her screen presence made Kid Rock wonder, why did he not take the decision of being a judge before?

Steven Tyler has always been known for his dramatic disposition and great showmanship, that can keep the audiences captivated for long. Once again that is what happened in the premiere episode of “American Idol” Season 10. Two of his most memorable dialogue came, when Jennifer Lopez said that she is having goose bumps, as the audition room was really chilled. Steven Tyler responded in impromptu, that it was not the chill but the warmth of the contestant’s voice. To another contestant, he commented that from his melodic sensibility, his performance was delicious.!
