New York, Nov 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Charismatic Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has ended all possible speculation that he is leaving the band ‘Aerosmith’ by joining guitarist Joe Perry on stage in New York’s Irving Plaza. “I just want New York to know, I am not leaving Aerosmith,” Tyler declared, before singing the group’s signature hit, Walk This Way.

The separations rumors started floating around when in a North American tour, Tyler fell off stage and subsequently the tour was cit short. And relations between Perry and Tyler deteriorated to a new low with bitter Twitter messages and cryptic barbs and rants over the issue whether Tyler was still with the band or not.

Separation rumors also got some more fuel when Tyler’s gave an interview to a British music magazine some time and said he was preparing to focus on a solo career.

After his Tuesday’s appearance Steven Tyler was so sure of his commitment to the band that he even told celebrity web site TMZ.com that “There is absolutely no validity to the rumor that Aerosmith is breaking up.”

With Tyler back in Aerosmith’s kitty, Perry said, “He just couldn’t stay away.” Asked about rumors the band was breaking up, Perry told TMZ.com: “None of that’s true.”
