Steven Soderbergh rules out Ocean’s Eleven sequel
September 13th, 2009 - 4:30 pm ICT by ANIWashington, September 13 (ANI): Filmmaker Steven Soderbergh has said that there won’t be another Ocean’s Eleven sequel, as nobody wants to continue in the absence of funnyman Bernie Mac.
“For me it was three (movies) and out but any possibility of ever revisiting that ended when Bernie Mac died. I don’t think any of us would want to go back and do that without him, so that’s it,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
Mac played Frank Catton in all three Ocean’s movies.
He died on August 9, 2008 of complications due to pneumonia. (ANI)
