Nov 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to a report from ‘Heat Vision Blog’, Steven Soderbergh has begun negotiations to direct ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ for it’s big screen adaptation. Although earlier reports had stated that David Dobkin was to direct the movie, it has now been confirmed that Dobkin is actually set to produce the film, and Scott Z Burn is in discussions to take the position of new screenwriter. The movie has been in various stages of development since the ‘90’s through Warner Bros, and a schedule has still not yet been set for this comedy.

‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ was a well known television series which aired on ‘NBC’ from the years 1964 to 1968. It told the story of spies Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, and both of them worked for U.N.C.L.E. or the United Network Command for Law Enforcement.

The arch enemy association which UNCLE is forever battling in an effort to thwart their evil acts is called ‘T.H.R.U.S.H.’ or the Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity.
