Steve Carell Sandra Bullock Join ‘The Abstinence Teacher’ Cast

Aug 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ‘40 Year Old Virgin’ is said to be teaming up with the girl with a need for ‘Speed’ to bring a new comedy to theaters. According to a report from ‘The Playlist’, Steve Carell and Sandra Bullock are teaming up to star in a new movie called ‘The Abstinence Teacher’, a film that has been in the developmental stages for years.
Based on the book which was written by Tom Perotta, the storyline involves a very liberal sexual education teacher and a Christian soccer coach who fall in love against the odds. The movie is being produced by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris who corroborated to produce ‘Little Miss Sunshine’.
The sex ed teacher (played by Bulloch) finds herself at odds with the conservative groups of the town, and yet she falls for her daughter’s soccer coach, who is a born again Christian. It is believed that the movie will come together quite well since Carell has worked with the directors on ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ and Sandra Bulloch is quite good at performing awkward comedy parts with a touch of drama in the mix.
