New York City, Mar 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Stephenie Meyer is all set to offer her new Twilight novella, free of cost on the Internet. The 36 years old author will allow the readers to read her 192-page novella ‘The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner’ free for a month.
The book is published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers and it will be released on the 5th of June 2010. After a couple of days, the novella would be available on the Internet for a month, for all the online readers. Reportedly the new novella is about Bree who is a newborn vampire, and who had also been featured in ‘Eclipse’. It ought to be mentioned that ‘Eclipse’ has been one of the best selling books of Stephenie’s vampire series, which has been a hit with the teenagers.
“I’m as surprised as anyone about this novella. When I began working on it in 2005, it was simply an exercise to help me examine the other side of Eclipse, which I was editing at the time. I thought it might end up as a short story that I could include on my website. Then, when work started on The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, I thought the Guide would be a good fit for my Bree story. However, the story grew longer than I anticipated, until it was too long to fit into the Guide,” the author said about her new novella that is creating waves.
