Sep 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Stephen Colbert has a big number of followers and recently, some on his followers have started a campaign to get him hold a counter rally to the one that was held by Glenn Beck last year. 



The proposed rally - “Restoring Truthiness” already has a fan page with about 8,000 fans on Facebook with many set to join in the coming days. The rally might just happen because the fan base is growing rapidly with the pressure on Colbert to pick up the challenge and hold the rally. 



Colbert was scheduled to address his growing number of fans last Tuesday on his television show. 

Colbert is expected to hold the rally because over the years, the TV host has remained loyal to his fans. Colbert also has a huge influence on his followers who virtually do anything that he asks them to do. That is how loyal Colbert fans remain to him, almost turning their relationship to a cult. 



This is how powerful the Internet has become. If this rally really comes on, then it only get to show that people are now using the Internet as a platform to meet people with similar ideologies and when that happens, everything is possible.
