Stephen Colbert wins the Best Comedy Album at the Grammy Awards 2010

Stephen Colbert Los Angeles, Jan 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Stephen Tyrone Colbert won the Grammy award for the Best Comedy Album. While accepting the award, he said that since it is a Christmas album, so he wants to thank Jesus Christ for having such a great birthday. He also thanked the other members of the crew of the show. He thanked his wife too and asked his daughter on air, that now does she think that her dad is cool? There was a lot of laughter and giggles at this joke.

Stephen Tyrone Colbert was born on May 13, 1964. He is an American political satirist, writer, comedian and television host. He is also the well known host of Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, a satirical news show in which the funny man Colbert portrays a caricatured version of conservative political pundits.

The Grammy Awards 2010 are going to have performances by Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Dave Matthews Band, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Green Day, Maxwell. Dance hall gurus The Black Eyed Peas have six nominations, and they’re going to perform to a medley of their hit’s Imma Be and I Gotta Feeling.
