Stephen Colbert to sing “Friday” on Fallon’s show

During last Tuesday’s “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”, Stephen Colbert made a surprise visit on the show. Fallon prefers to call Colbert his “best friend of six friends.”
Colbert recently auctioned off his portrait which fetched him $26,000. When Colbert appeared on the show, he donated the amount to DonorsChoose.org. DonorsChoose.org is involved in helping classrooms in the United States which are in need. Fallon want to match the donation of Colbert and he is asking for help from his viewers.
Fallon told his viewers that Colbert has promised to appear on the show to sing Rebecca Black’s “Friday” if they are able to match Colbert’s donation.
Fallon told his viewers that, “If we can raise $26,000 by this Friday, I will promise that my BFF(best friend of freinds) for six months, Stephen Colbert, will come on this show and sing Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ with the Roots, and that is a promise that I am making from him to you.”
DonorsChoose.org announced on its website that the request is not an “April Fool” stunt. The donations should be made on the website of the organization.
