Stella McCartney Bags The Opportunity Of Designing Costumes For Team GB London 2012 And Paralympics

The 2012 Olympics are almost a year away and the preparations for the gala event have already started taking place at every level. The Olympics are one of the most awaited events every four years and thus the hype and hoopla surrounding it are also as big as the event itself.
Thus one person who is quite on cloud nine due to the great event is fashion designer Stella McCartney.
This lucky designer has bagged the opportunity to craft the Adidas Competition wear for the grand event and reportedly has stated that this is certainly the ‘Once in a lifetime opportunity’
The lady arrives at Adidas for showing her concept of the team GB London 2012 Olympics to the British Olympic Association. The designer is to create the sportswear for the GB for the Olympics and Paralympics as well.
Despite having touched the epitome of her creativity, the designer, a mother of four does agree that she has many challenges ahead to be faced in the path to create some of the best costumes for the athletes as she has to make it look good on the telly and also see to it that the athletes are comfortable in the costumes, thereby their performances not being hindered in any way due to the costumes.
The fabric that is to be used is quite technical and care has to be taken at every stage so as to get the perfect look and fit for all athletes. However, challenging the task might be tough ,Stella is all set to face them with a positive attitude!
