Status Quo lined up for Glastonbury Fest 2009
May 26th, 2009 - 4:49 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 26 (ANI): Status Quo is set to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.
The veteran rockers will entertain the crowds with headliners Blur, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young at the Somerset event running from 26-28 June.
Joining the Brit band in the ranging final line-up are Tom Jones, Franz Ferdinand and Spinal Tap, reports the BBC.
Abba tribute band Bjorn Again, Dizzee Rascal, Lily Allen, Jarvis Cocker and Madness will be a part of more than 350 acts scheduled for the festival.
Other performers include The Prodigy, Glasvegas, Kasabian, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Doves and Will Young.
All 137,500 tickets for the event in Worthy Farm, Pilton, have already been grabbed. (ANI)
