Sep 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The MTV Video Music Awards 2010 promises to be one of the most entertaining award nights of the year. With Chelsea Handler hosting the show, the sense of humor is expected to shoot off the ceiling. Recently, the comedian told the media that she would like to see Kanye West and Taylor Swift back together on stage. This year’s VMAs will also see the return to awards glory for the rapping legend Eminem. He has been nominated in a number of categories this year which includes the Best Hip Hop Video and the Video of the Year.

Fans will known that the Taylor Swift-Kanye West moment has been one of the most talked about incidents in recent music history. In spite of Kanye West’s apologies later, Taylor Swift has chosen to maintain a silence, that some might call explosive. Justin Bieber too finds himself to be one of the highlighted celebs in the evening for his nomination in the Best New Artist category.

Both Kanye West and Taylor Swift have been nominated for different categories this year. Ellen DeGeneres, Katy Perry and Cher will be among the artist who will also present the awards. Known for her outrageous sense of humor, Chelsea Handler is expected to be a handful for many of the celebs. One of the strongest contenders in several categories this year is the Hayley Williams ft. B.O.B song ‘Airplanes’. The crowd at the Nokia Theater in Las Vegas will be witness to one of the most star studded evenings and also see some memorable live performances from the biggest stars in the music industry.
