‘Star Wars’ actor Mark Hamill loses Luke Skywalker charms
April 2nd, 2011 - 4:07 pm ICT by ANINew York, Apr 2 (ANI): Actor Mark Hamill has lost the boyish good looks he sported in his role as Luke Skywalker on ‘Star Wars’.
Hamill, 59, stepped back into the spotlight at a wrap party for his indie film ‘Sushi Girl’.
In addition to sporting a paler complexion, Hamill’s face now has reminders of all the years that have gone by in the form of wrinkles on his forehead as well as his eyes and jaw line.
Last summer, Hamill reunited with ‘Star Wars’ mastermind George Lucas and co-star Carrie Fisher at ‘Star Wars Celebration V’, a fan convention.
Like Hamill, Fisher bore little resemblance to her Princess Leia character. The 54-year-old recently became a spokeswoman for Jenny Craig after finding herself feeling humiliated about her looks.
“I look on the Internet and they say, ‘Whatever happened to Carrie Fisher? She used to be so hot and now she looks like Elton John’,” the New York Daily News quoted her as telling People in January.
“I was really hurt,” she added. (ANI)
