Jonathan Knight, an American vocalist, who is a portion of the ‘boy band’, New Kids On The Block (NKOTB), has come out as gay subsequent to the inadvertent outing of his in the preceding week by his fellow pop star of the decade of the 1980s, Tiffany.

During a discussion with the ‘Bravo’ host, Andy Cohen, Tiffany asserted that Knight only became a homosexual subsequent to the two dating in the beginning of their careers. A sequence of disparagements was flung in Tiffany’s path for these comments, after which NY Magazine has voiced that Knight himself has now reacted to the tittle-tattle. He has vocalized on NKOTB’s website in its ‘members only’ segment that he has been honest to himself about his sexual orientation since the 1990s. He did not know that he would have to proclaim his sexual leaning publicly simply because of his reunification with NKOTB.

Knight has declared that he has been candid about his sexual preference and has never attempted to conceal his homosexuality. He has vocalized that he never deemed that he should take advantage of his sexuality crassly for limelight. Therefore, he has not permitted himself to be interviewed about his personal life. Tiffany has subsequently verbalized that she felt sad about the blunder of hers but Knight came to her defence and stated that there was no bitterness in him for her.

In 2008, a Brazilian male, who voiced that he was Knight’s former beau, vended his ‘story’ and pictures to the National Enquirer.

Knight commences a combined tour between NKOTB and the Backstreet Boys (BB) in this summer.

Subsequent to the primary disbandment of NKOTB in 1994, Knight functioned as a realty developer residing in Massachusetts and emerged in public and participated in interviews infrequently. Ten years back, Knight divulged that he had been plagued by panic attacks since his early association with NKOTB. He requested medical assistance, which led to his health’s enhancement.
