Stan Lee to get his own History Channel series - ‘Superhumans’

x-men Los Angeles, May 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The legendary Stan Lee who created historic comic book characters like Spider-Man, Hulk, X-Men and the Fantastic Four, is all set to enter the era of television, as a TV co-host. Because the History channel is all set to give him his own series, which would be titled ‘Superhumans’. Stan Lee would be the host of the series along with Daniel Browning Smith, who is said to be most flexible man in the world. Prior to this series, Stan Lee has been a guest on many shows like ‘The Simpsons’, ‘the Big Bang Theory.’ And he has also being the host of this own reality show based on superheroes which was called ‘Who Wants to be a Superhero?’ which ran for a couple of seasons.

According to History Channel officials the Superhumans series would “find people who have remarkable abilities because of being genetically different”. The History Channel is trying to tap into the youth audience, with a slew of youth-centric programs and reality shows. Besides Superhumans the channel has already planned and given the green signal for 5 other reality shows like ‘Around the World in 80 Days’, ‘Swamp People’ and ‘Vigilante Inspector’ amongst others.
