New Delhi, July 11 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has got more than a million followers on Twitter a little over a year-and-half after joining the micro-blogging site.
“Celebrating the million mark by watching Bambi with my daughter. Feeling the warmth…thanx all. Love u,” Shah Rukh posted on his page Monday.
The actor, who hooked on to Twitter in Jan 2010, amassed over 10,000 followers within the first 24 hours of joining the Bollywood brigade on the website.
However, Shah Rukh is not the first Indian celebrity to achieve this feat, as cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, author-politician Shashi Tharoor and actress Priyanka Chopra crossed the million-mark before him.
These days, the 45-year-old is gearing up for the release of his superhero film “RA.One”, which will hit the screens this Diwali.
