March 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Akon the well-known Hip-Hop singer is facing problem nowadays. He had applied for SriLankan Visa as he was supposed to perform there in the month of April. Besides that there were various events been organized in order to attract people from all over the world? But unfortunately his visa was declined by the Sri Lankan government.
According to source, Akon had featured scantily clad females who were dancing around the sculpture of god Buddha in his recent music album, which became a huge controversial matter. Several groups of Buddhists were not pleased at all after seeing this video by Akon.
Later on some Buddhist monks approached the Sri Lankan government in order to take a crucial decision regarding the same and not to allow Akon to perform in their country.
This decision of rejecting his visa was taken on Tuesday by President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Minister of Tourism Achala Jagoda after this matter became a huge controversial matter. But Director of Platinum Entertainment Lasantha Samarasinghe who is also the organizer of this concert don’t have any idea regarding this.
