Sri Adhikari Brothers launch new music-comedy channel
July 7th, 2010 - 1:56 am ICT by IANSMumbai, July 7 (IANS) The Sri Adhikari Brothers (SAB) Tuesday launched Mastii, a new channel that focuses on music and comedy.
“We conceptualised Mastii as an electronic radio where people can tune in any time of the day for a dose of unadulterated fun. It offers 24 hours of non-stop music and comedy,” Markand Adhikari, vice president and managing director of the SAB Group, told reporters during the launch at Hotel Taj Lands End here.
“The idea behind bringing this channel was entertainment…but more than was to see that people have fun,” Gautam Adhikari, chairman and creative director of SAB Group, told IANS.
Said stand-up comedian Raju Srivastav, who attended the event: “I am really excited about Mastii because that word is what my life is all about and that’s what we are offering through this new entertainment channel.”
