September 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Sreejita De, the bong actress who has joined the unit of “Miley Jab Hum Tum’ on Star One as Ash, and Nikhil Chaddha, who is playing the rich casanova Rohan and who was last seen in “Swarg’ on Colors, are playing typical Mills and Boon characters on the show and are enjoying it too.

Though their on-screen characters throw attitude on each other and have a love-hate kind of relationship, off-screen they both chill out together and share each other’s lunches daily like school kids. In a conversation with TellyCafe.com, Sreejita laughs and quips, “We all have a lot of fun together! Arjun and Nikhil are the biggest pranksters on the sets.” She tells us that at times they both puncture her car’s tyre, etc. to annoy or irritate her.

She adds, “My mother packs a home-cooked lunch for me everyday. But almost every single day, my lunch vanishes before I even get to my make-up room during the lunch break. All I get is an empty dabba. And 99% of the time, it’s either Arjun or Nikhil who would have swiped it. But then, in return they share all their lunch with me so I can’t complain. They all take good care of me.”

Sreejita’s chemistry with her co-star has been accepted by the audience and she feels they are lucky to be co-stars and working for a production house like Sudhir Sharma’s Sunshine Productions and Endemol.
