She was at the hospital with her mother who was to undergo a cataract operation. Shweta, despite her hectic schedule took out time and patiently waited to complete all the formalities and was a pillar of strength when her mother needed her the most.

After family dramas, Shweta tried her hand at anchoring and participating in reality shows, produced and acted in Bhojpuri films and soon plans to take up a Punjabi film. Till then she is taking it easy and keeps herself busy being a single mother to her daughter Palak and a devoted daughter to her ever supportive mom.
