Sporty ‘Super Six’ Grace KBC 4 To Celebrate Diwali

November 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The sporting fraternity of India has everything going for them this time, courtesy their spectacular performance at the Common Wealth Games this year. After being allotted a number of prizes for their stupendous effort that did the nation proud, a six member group of the sporty set graced the ‘hot seat’ on KBC this week.
Big B, a self professed admirer of sports welcomed the six calling them the super six. The list of achievers who sat on the hot seat includes wrestlers Sushil Kumar and Manoj Kumar; Sreesanth the controversial cricketer; Leander Paes, the tennis ace along with Ashwini Ponnapaa and Jwala Gutta, noted badminton players.
Paes confessed of being a fan of Bachchan and went on to prove his admiration for the superstar by stating that he had seen the blockbuster movie, ‘Sholay’ an astounding 102 times. Although Leander is a tennis player par excellence in his own right, he brought out the Big B fan in him by flattering him left, right and center. Amitabh Bachchan, however, remained completely untouched by his over the top remarks, preferring to take everything in his stride instead.
Leander also held the Big B responsible for his interest in Bollywood and subsequent foray into the glittering world of Hindi cinema.
