Spielberg ‘plans to conquer Broadway stage with TV show’
September 26th, 2009 - 2:02 pm ICT by ANILondon, September 26 (ANI): Steven Spielberg is set to work his magic on television with a series documenting the development of a Broadway musical.
The acclaimed director was said to be in talks with Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman for the yet-to-be-titled show.
The series will reportedly cover every detail of the musical’s preparations, including the script-writing till the production’s opening night, reports the Daily Express.
The stage show will then allegedly open in New York, followed by a run in London, depending on its success. (ANI)
