Spice Girls not reuniting for tour: Melanie
June 14th, 2010 - 6:43 pm ICT by IANS
London, June 14 (IANS) Singer Melanie Chisholm has denied reports that the Spice Girls are preparing for a comeback tour saying all five girls are too busy to reunite.
“There’s no chance of that happening. Don’t believe what you’ve read elsewhere. We have no plans to tour again,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
“We all have our own projects going on and have families too, so we couldn’t find the time even if we wanted to.”
Reports said that singers Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Chisholm met to finalise plans for a new album, a DVD, merchandising and a new tour. But they are having a tough time convincing Victoria Beckham, who is reluctant to rejoin.
