Spears denies dating Madden
December 20th, 2008 - 3:23 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 20 (IANS) Britney Spears’ publicist has hit back at reports that the singer is dating rocker Benji Madden.According to a US tabloid, Spears was said to have moved close to the Good Charlotte rocker after being introduced to each other by her manager who is helping her to find a new suitor.
Contactmusic.com quoted Touch Weekly as saying that the pair had dinner at a Los Angeles hotel and have met several times since.
A source added: “They’ve been on a few dates. She appears to like Benji a lot, and he seems to really like her.”
Spears’ publicist Holly Shakoor rubbished the reports.
She told E! News: “The claims made by In Touch are completely false. There is not an ounce of truth to any of it.”
Madden split from socialite Paris Hilton last month after a nine-month relationship.
