Los Angeles, Nov. 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sunday night brought a lot of excitement for music lovers. November 22, was the night of American Music Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and the event was graced by the popular music sensations of the country. The well-known rapper- singer as well as record producer, Timbaland made the best use of the night by featuring the performance of new singer Soshy at American Music Awards.

Soshy will feature in the upcoming album of Timbaland, titled, “Shock Value II”. Timbaland started working on this album from 2008 and has selected Soshy to add vocal on the track, “Morning After Dark”. The album is scheduled for release in December and performing a track from an upcoming album is expected to raise the popularity of the album before its launch. Timbaland’s decision to perform the new track on the award night has not only given wide exposure to his track but also to the new artist Soshy.

Many people expected Miley Cyrus to perform in the show with Timbaland and were disappointed to see the new singer on stage. However, most of the people appreciated the performance of Soshy and praised her vocals in the track. Some considered Nelly Furtado, the other singer of the track, did not get to exhibit much of her talents in the track. They believed that the track would have been better if Timbaland’s part was reduced to increase Furtado’s vocal. Though there were mixed opinions, the American Music Award night introduced Soshy to thousands of people and this is expected to benefit her career hugely in future.
