sohh.com hacked : Another website victimized

- Popular hip-hop news website sohh.com was apparently hacked in the early hours of Friday.
The site featured news such as “JEWS DID 9/11″ , “Notorious Hacker Group Ebaumsworld.com Drastically Improve Frontpage of SOHH.COM” , etc
The hackers claim to be Ebaumsworld.com.
eBaum’s World (subtitled “Media for the masses”) is a website featuring media such as videos, Flash cartoons and web games. It is highly controversial for many reasons, primarily because content on the website is taken from other sources without permission and rebranded with the eBaum’s World logo. The site, which was originally co-owned by Eric “eBaum” Bauman and his father, Neil Bauman, of Rochester, New York, ranks in the top 1000 sites on the Internet according to the website Alexa. On August 2, 2007, eBaum’s World was acquired by HandHeld Entertainment in a complex deal involving stock and $15 million in cash.
The real people behing the apparent hack is still unknown. There have been talks on the blogosphere regarding this issue. At the time of writing, sohh.com was inaccessible.

I was watching it happen, SOHH was making so many jokes about 4chan that they started to cry collectively. It’s sad really.

it was 4chan, specifically posters in the /b/ section. i lurked both sohh and 4chan in the days leading up to the hacking and saw the threads made in /b/. 4chan hates ebaumsworld (even though apparently there are people who post on both), so obviously they’re gonna try to shift the blame to them. There are/were also threads made on 420chan and 411chan (http://411chan.org/raid/res/12.html).

Anonymous are simply opportunists.
You do not taunt the bull with a red flag in the real world. The same applies here.
This was not a racial attack. If it were a white supremacist (google: Hal Turner Anonymous) the attacks would have been thematically suited to that.
Anonymous raids of any variety (be it Hal Turner, Scientology, SOHH, etc.) are done to provoke a reaction from people who feel they are above and beyond the rest of us without any justification other than their own arrogance. Tall poppies.
Their reactions are priceless, because how dare someone call them out. How dare someone attack the intricately crafted persona they have formed for themselves in their own little world.
Of course, they always play the victim instead of the instigator. In this case: they play the race card. Now they are humbled.

i watched the whole ep go down - sohh had it coming
on top of that sohh wants to play the race card?? pleeeeez
they gotta be kiddin……i hope the posters and creators @ sohh learned their lesson here…my heart gos out to them but they had this coming for a long time now
