Soderbergh rules out ‘Ocean’s Fourteen’ movie
September 13th, 2009 - 3:54 pm ICT by IANSNew York, Sep 13 (IANS) Hollywood filmmaker Steven Soderbergh has ruled out a fourth instalment in the “Ocean’s Eleven” franchise because no one wants to carry on the film series without funnyman Bernie Mac.
Mac, who portrayed Frank Catton in all three Ocean’s movies, died last year and now Soderbergh can’t imagine making a fourth film without him, reports hollywood.com.
“For me it was three (movies) and out but any possibility of ever revisiting that ended when Bernie Mac died. I don’t think any of us would want to go back and do that without him, so that’s it.”
