Here are the results for the June 25, Thursday night episode of the show “So You Think You Can Dance” : the pairs of Brandon and Janette, Philip and Jeanine, Ade and Melissa, Randi and Evan, Kayla and Kupano were declared to be safe. Dancing couples Asuka and Vitolio, Caitlin and Jason and Karla and Jonathan were in the bottom three. In the singles category Caitlin, Karla, Vitolio and Jason were safe. The two contestants who have been eliminated are Asuka and Jonathan. For once at least viewers can say they agree with the result of the eliminations; those who have been left behind on the show are the most deserving ones.

Nigel Lythgoe, Toni Bassil and Mary Murphy return to the show donning the judge’s hat for the evening. The evening’s musical guest was THE VERONICAS. The Group Performance for the evening was on a Latin/ Hip Hop hybrid number on the tune of “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” by Pittfall. The dance routine was choreographed by Dmitry Chaplin and Tabitha & Napoleon and was one of the best choreography till now. The part with the ladies dancing on the table, especially added a nice uplifting touch to the whole routine. Caitlin Deeley, decked in a dead palm tree halter pantsuit was quite a gleeful sight among the dancers.

Asuka is sent home even though being dubbed an exciting performer. Nigel dismisses her saying that she is not growing as a performer and is stuck in a mold. Among the guys, Jonathan is sent home after Nigel admits that the decision was not unanimous, which gives Vitolio and Jason an opportunity to prove their worth on the show for another week.
