July 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the show started last night on ‘So You Think You can Dance’, the top 14 performers danced a beautiful Bollywood style routine while wearing bright and colorful Indian clothing. As the host of the show, Cat Deeley took the stage she shared that the judges will choose the two contestants to go home from the bottom three. Travis Wall, Nigel Lythgoe, and Mary Murphy are all three on hand to make those decisions.

Melanie and Marko’s jazz routine from the previous night thrilled the judges. As Cat reveals their results, it seems that they thrilled America too, since they were safe. Caitlynn and Mitchell, whom the judges gave a standing ovation on performance night, were also named as safe.

Cat then calls to the stage three more of the top seven couples who had performed the previous night. Ashley and Chris were-not surprisingly-in the bottom three. Their salsa dance from the night before just did not do it for the judges either. Clarice and Jess were loved by the judges in their contemporary dance, and their chemistry was magical. They were also safe. Mary Murphy was shocked, however to find that Jordan and Tadd, who performed a smooth waltz, were in the bottom three, since all of the judges had loved them.

The judges were shocked once again with the next set of results. Cat Deeley called Ryan and Ricky along with Sasha and Alexander to the stage. The zombie dance which Ryan and Ricky had done was well liked by the judges, while Shasha and Alexander’s hip hop routine was “lacking” and did not have the connection that they needed. America chose to put Ryan and Ricky in the bottom three, however, and Sasha and Alexander were safe.

After the solo dances, Chris Koehl and Ashley Rich were sent home by the judges.
