When the show opens, all ten dancers are performing to the song ” Still Rock and Roll To Me” Cat Deeley remnds us that the judges, “Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and Adam Hacket”, will not have any control over who goes home, and cannot cut or save anyone. It is all up to America’s votes. “Tonight we will lose one guy and one girl” she adds. They then show reviews of last night’s performances. Who did America vote for, and who will be leaving?

The first five, the girls come out onto the stage to find out who are the bottom two girls. Cat opens envelopes, and reveals results: Eleanor is safe, Molle is safe, and an overjoyed look of shock crosses her face, Noel is in the bottom two, and then, as Ashleigh and Kathryn stand holding hands and waiting, Cat reveals that Ashleigh is safe and Kathryn is in the bottom two. So the bottom two girls are Noel and Kathryn.

The guys come out next and wait as Cat reveals their fates. Ryan is in the bottom two, Russell is safe. Jakob is safe, and Nathan and Legacy wait to hear, that the final guy in trouble tonight is Nathan.

Next comes a wonderful contemporary routine performed by the Legion of Extraordinary Dancers”. It was absolutely amazing and the audience loved it.

The four dancers in trouble on “So You Think You Can Dance”, then danced a solo, which cannot save them or change the vote, but did give America a chance to see them one last time. Noel went first and Adam said she was amazing last night. Ryan was second, and Mary told him that he was one of the best ballroom dancers they had ever had on the show. Next, Mary told Kathryn that she was shocked to see her in the bottom, because she had done everything asked of her every week. She added that she was really sad to see her in this position. Nathan performed last and Nigel told him it was a great solo, that he was on a brilliant road at the moment and should continue on the path he is on, regardless of tonight’s results.

Snoop Dogg performed next, with several dancers, to a song where he rapped the lyrics, “So You Think You Can Dance? Go Ahead….”

Adam and Cat commented on how much they hated Wednesdays. Noel and Kathryn again stood on stage holding hands. Noel is going home. She said it was never about the end result, but about the journey and this journey had been incredible. Ryan and Nathan stood on stage next, and Nathan will go home. He said the journey had made him really appreciate how much he loved dance.

I think I agree with Adam and Cat. Wednesdays, at least on “So You Think You Can Dance”, are not my favorite day.
