Snoop Dogg banned from Norway following drug bust

Oslo, July 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Celebrity Snoop Dogg has been banned from Norway for two years. This is due to his attempt to enter in to Norway last month while carrying marijuana which is illegal in Norway as it is in many parts of the world.

Sniffer dogs alerted the authorities at the airport in Norway when Snoop arrived there. He was supposed to perform in Norway on the 28th of June. Snoop was found with 8 grams of marijuana and more cash than he was supposed to be carrying.

Snoop was fined 8600 dollars for the offence and the court has now banned him from entering Norway for the next two years. This is after Snoop pleaded guilty to the offence. Snoop’s lawyer said that he is not planning to appeal.

He is ready to live with the decision of the court not to go to Norway for the next two years. This is no the first time for Snoop to face drug charges. He also faced other drug charges in January where he was arrested because marijuana was found in a dust bin inn his bus while he was on tour. Snoop is set to release a reggae album later this year and in this album he goes by the name Snoop Lion.
