“Snake ‘N’ Bacon” set the audience reeling
May 11th, 2009 - 7:29 pm ICT by GDThe enormously funny tales by Michael Kupperman, “Snake ‘N’ Bacon” was telecast on the Cartoon network on the 10th of May. This was one of the shows where the adults were simply rolling with laughter as the two characters in the tale, the Snake and the Bacon talk to each other in a language filled with sexual innuendos. The show was telecast as a part of the ongoing “Adult Swim block of programming.” Fans of Kupperman surely had a time of their lives.
The cast of the program includes, Dan Bakkedahl, Kristin Schaal, Peter Serafinowicz, Bill Hader, Brian Stack, David Rakoff and James Urbaniak. The show included live action and animated segments. Michael Kupperman mentioned, “Snake ’N’ Bacon the TV show pilot is going to be broadcast as part of Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block of programming, on May 10th at 12:45 AM.” the added attraction of the show will be the fact that it will be followed by ” a spiritual cousin,” the British comedy, “Mighty Boosh.”
For those who are still wondering who Michael Kupperman really is, there is some enlightenment for you, Kupperman, better known with his pseudonym P. Revess is an American cartoonist and illustrator. He has created a number of memorable cartoon characters and has even written for DC Comics. His works are greatly influenced by absurdity and surrealism.
