Sly says his stunt injuries are a ‘good omen’

London, July 20 (ANI): American actor Sylvester Stallone has said that his stunt injuries are a good omen, as the movie that have left him injured seriously have scored well at the box office.
The 64-year-old actor has never backed off from performing dangerous in his movies because he feels that taking health risks has always paid off.
“It’s a good omen. Every film I’ve done where I got injured has turned out great. Rocky II was 60 stitches; Rocky III was a concussion; the last Rambo was a bruised artery. Ones where I come out unscathed? Disasters,” Stallone told Maxim magazine.
But the Rocky star recently accepted that he would have to chuck his superstition and stop doing further stunts after he seriously injured his shoulder and back in a fight sequence with wrestler Steve Austin on the set of his new film The Expendables, reports The Daily Star.
Stallone’s doctor told him that he will risk spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair if tries to perform any more stunts.
“I couldn’t do this again. This is it, there’s nothing left. I have had four operations since the film. The doctor says that if I hurt my neck again, that’s it - paralysis or worse. I don’t want to hear that but it’s a fact,” Stallone told Cigar Aficionado magazine. (ANI)
