November 2, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Slash, the guitarist made famous by ‘Guns N Roses’ was in the news today as he decided to call off his decision to divorce his wife of nine years. He and his wife Perla Ferrar had announced their decision to go their separate ways almost four months earlier.

The divorce proceedings had been initiated with the musician filing the papers at the Los Angeles County Superior court. Saul Hudson known simply as Slash requested the court for a dismissal of the petition for divorce.

The 45 year old Slash and his wife Perla seemed much like a happy family when they took their children out trick or treating over the Halloween weekend. The fact that both of them were wearing their wedding rings had been surprising indeed.

The divorce papers had been filed a couple of months ago citing irreconcilable differences as the cause. The separation date for the couple had been entered as the 15th of July this year.

The couple had got hitched back in the October of 2001 and have two sons from their marriage. London, the eight year old is the elder of the two with four year old Cash following later. Slash had credited his wife in March 2009 stating that she had helped him get rid of the hardcore stuff that he used to live on thereby helping him to settle down in life.

Slash had been hoping to obtain both physical as well as legal custody of his children at the time of filing for divorce. His representative, however, confirmed the news that the divorce has been called off finally this morning.
