hollywood signLos Angeles, March 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) To save the Hollywood hills from any further construction, a bill board company has come forward with a deal which asks for something that is hard for the conservationists and people of Los Angeles to agree to. Sky Tag, a Beverly Hills based billboard company has reportedly said that it will pay the needed $12.5 million to save the stretch of Hollywood hills.

The conservationists have been able to raise much of the needed amount and are according to reports, $3 million away from the mark. The payment of Sky Tag of $12.5 millions will have solved the problem, but the proposal by the billboard company has come with a condition. The price for the property has been set to be $22 millions. It will pay the needed amount only if the city of Los Angeles withdraws all charges levied against the company for hanging the giant billboards at many places of Los Angeles. Sky Tag is in a legal battle with the City of Los Angeles for installing vinyl super graphics which is banned by the city.

Though the settlement would have solved the problem of the “Trust for Public Land” which is raising the fund, the spokesperson of the trust, Tim Ahern has reportedly said that it would accept the donation if only it comes without any condition, as a free donation to save the property. The trust will in no way get into any legal proceeding according to the spokesperson. Eric Garcetti, the Councilman for the state said that the city will not trade one part of the city for another.
