The star who has acted in a number of acclaimed and successful movie like ‘The Proposal’ and ‘X Men Origins: Wolverine’ is gearing up for the release of his upcoming superhero flick Green lantern. Not only that he has been selected as the sexist Man alive by a reputed celebrity and lifestyle magazine. The 34 year old Canadian actor who makes his fans go weak in their knees with his drop dead gorgeous looks and the envy inspiring abs is delighted but he is trying to underplay his achievement. With this feather in his cap he joins the coveted and elite league of celebrities and actors like Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, Tom cruise and Johnny Depp.

The hunky star said after winning the title of the sexiest man alive that “This gives my family entry into teasing me for the rest of my life.” He is the husband of actress Scarlett Johanson. Ryan Reynolds started his career in showbiz with TV roles in the 1990s and later made his presence felt in films like “The Amityville Horror” as well as “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. In the later film he shared screen space with hunky Australian actor Hugh Jackman.

However, his career soared upwards after acting with Sandra Bullock in the acclaimed romantic Comedy ‘The Proposal’. Ryan Reynolds has become the first Canadian to be awarded the Sexiest Man alive award. The Vancouver born sizzling actor loved for his chiseled abs and gorgeous physique is going to appear on the cover of the magazine which bestowed the honor on him in its upcoming issue.
