tampa Los Angeles, July 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tamera Mowry, who became famous after featuring in Sister, Sister has been proposed to for the second time by Adam Housley, who works as a correspondent of Fox News.

E! News reports indicate the couple got engaged again, while they were on holiday in Italy last week. It ought to be mentioned that the couple had an engagement in the past but they had called it off. They began dating inconsistently about a year ago, and now the 38 year old Housley proposed again to her and she accepted.

Mowry has a twin sister Tia and the twins’ feature together in Sister, Sister and have a very cordial relationship but that relationship could be at risk, because her family doesn’t approve of her dating Housley. Tia and Adam have always not been a fan of each other and the sisters could be having a rift as a result.

There aren’t any plans to get married now, but the couple is planning to move in together and then think about when they want to get married.

Details of the wedding are not out yet, but they will be likely getting married at the family’s estate in Napa.

Did you say move in together?
I guess she forgot she appeared on TBN a major Christian broadcast promoting virginity and Christianity.
OH well I guess another one bites the dust if they are going to shack up, so much for her Christian values. High profile Celebrities would do us a better service and not say anything about their Christian values this way they don’t come off as hypocrites.

Well how wonderful for them, maybe it will work out this time around!

I have known these twin sisters from the show. When I heard the news about her second time engaged with Hosley. In my opinion, you shouldnt marry him and its my guts says dont do it and you will regret it.

umm to anonymous…News flash the bible doesnt say anything about moving in together it says not to have sex before marrriage. Ppl mess up the content of that scripture all the time. you can live with someone and still not have sex. What does the bible say about judging someone for what you think is wrong huh..where are you principles since you cast stones.

  5. peanut gallery Says:

@ anonymous july 30th: I was thinking the same thing. And I didn’t even know she promoted virginity and Christianity publicly.

@ reese: I do see where you’re coming from. True the Bible says not to judge others based on our own made-up/subjective standards. But it does say to judge the right or wrong actions of ourselves and others based upon scripture/God’s standards.

The Bible also warns Christians against willingly putting themselves in the path of temptation. As well as not even giving off the appearance of sinning i.e. how your actions could be interpreted. It’s near impossible to keep up convictions in the face of pressure when you’ve exposed yourself to the daily proximity, intimacy, and interdependence that are supposed to be shared by a husband and wife.

I think where anonymous was coming from is: if Tamera’s supposed live by Biblical standards (that she’s promoted), why is she cohabitating (an arrangement similar to marriage) when she isn’t yet married? Good intentions aside, let’s not be naïve.

Sorry for the long comment, I just felt both posters brought up valid points.

WHAT?? move in together? and She appeared on TBN ( Trinity Broadcasting Network) talking virginity, and how your body is a temple of GOD.Girl friend do you self a favor, moving in with him doesnot guarantee marriage, plus you are actually giving room for the Devil to dwell in your heart. WRONG DECISION. PRAY and PRAY for Direction from the Lord and he will certainly guide you. There seem to be some RED FLAGS in your relationship; donot ignore them, why did you all call off the engagement the first time?

  7. anonymous Says:

so it didn’t work out the first time why? maybe its a sign that it shouldn’t happen. her family doesn’t even like this guy her twin sister who is in a successful marriage and should know her best doesn’t approve. and on top of that she is rushing into things by prematurely shacking up. i wish she would’ve started dating Hosea Sanchez(Malik from the game) they seem to be hitting it off nicely.

  8. raqs Says:

to all you judging, she is human like u and i..Only God can change instead of judging and making comments that are deadly why not pray for her

you see its people like you that will stagnate a person from there destinty all i can say is that were human

I looked up to Tia and Tamera for a good chunk of my childhood. They were cool, smart, sweet, and (the best quality…) Christian. I wanted to grow up and be just like them (cheesy, but true). I know I’m not the only girl who felt that way- many many girls, especially young Christians, looked up to them as role models.

Now, I’ve grown up and so have they. While I have tried to maintain my faith in Christ, they seem to have lost sight of theirs. In the past few years, I’ve watched Tia (once a huge advocate of abstinence) “have sex” on screen multiple times. I’ve listened to profanity come out of her mouth, the same mouth that once openly praised the Lord to all who would listen. Now, Tamera opts to move in with her boyfriend/fiance, putting herself in a tempting situation that could (and probably will) prove to be spiritually-harmful. Why knowingly put yourself in the position to sin? Granted, I don’t know that she IS sinning, but the risk involved in such a choice is too great. I know I would have a harder time resisting sex if I slept in the same room/bed/house as my boyfriend. You have to be disciplined and set guidelines for yourself (something Tia and Tamera USED to preach whole-heartedly).

While I know that Tia and Tamera are human and WILL make mistakes as all humans do, I can’t help but to feel crushed by their actions in recent years. There are far too few Christians out there to look up to already, and it only makes it worse when those who profess to be Christians are living their lives according to the world’s expectations, not the Bible’s. I’ve lost respect for them because it’s like they just gave up to the world, as though Christ went out of style or something. A true Christian is someone who will stick with Christ through thick and thin, even when it’s very unpopular to do. Now, it’s almost as if those days never existed.

  10. Jessi Says:

@Jennalee: I totally agree. I’ve always admired both of them for their bold stand for Christ in an industry that has mocked people for their faith in God. To hear Tia cursing on TV, or her role on The Game seems compromising, as well as seeing Tamera going out clubbing with strippers behind her while she is drinking. It really is heart-breaking. I have always looked up to them and hoped they would stand strong in what they believed. I pray they find their way back to that place of “no compromise” with the world and standing up for God in a bold way again.

  11. las vegas 35 Says:

First of all if ALL YOU PEOPLE WATCHED THE TIA AND TAMERA SHOW YOU WILL SEE THAT TAMERA DID NOT AND I REPEAT DID NOT LIVE WITH ADAM UNTIL AFTER AND I WILL REPEAT THAT AGAIN TAMERA DID NOT LIVE WITH ADAM AND NOR DID TAMERA LIVED WITH ADAM UNTIL AFTER THEY WERE MARRIED. SO BEFORE ANY OF YOU GUYS PASS A JUDGEMENT OR ANY BODY GET YOUR FREAKING FACTS RIGHT. AND FOR THOSE OF U THAT QUOTED SCRIPTURES U NEED TO GO BACK AND RE READ THAT SCRIPTURES BEFORE U TRY TO QUOTE!!!!!!!
