Sir Peter Jackson recovering at home
February 3rd, 2011 - 7:07 pm ICT by ANIWellington, Feb 3 (ANI): Peter Jackson has apparently been discharged from the hospital, and would continue his recuperation at home.
Jackson was admitted to Wellington Hospital on January 26 with acute stomach pains, reports stuff.co.nz.
According to his spokeswoman, the surgery had gone well and Jackson was expected to make a full recovery.
The Hobbit director wanted to express his thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Wellington Hospital for their expert care “and to all those members ofthe public who sent their warm wishes,” she added.
Any delays to filming The Hobbit were expected to be minimal. (ANI)
