Sir Patrick Stewart getting used to his knighthood
February 16th, 2010 - 5:51 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb 16 (ANI): Star Trek star Patrick Stewart has revealed that he is slowly getting used to the title “Sir” following his knighthood in the New Year’s Honours.
Stewart, 69, had been awarded the title for his services to drama.
“I have only been in England for four days since 1 January so I’ve had time to acclimatize myself to this extraordinary honour,” the BBC quoted him as saying.
“It’s beginning to feel, day by day, a little more comfortable. But tonight to hear my name linked like that with Sir Ian McKellen was perhaps so far the highlight of this event,” he added. (ANI)
